About

Kirkcaldy YMCA is a vibrant local community hub for children, young people and families providing a wide range of programmes all year round and involving large numbers of volunteers.

Locations

The majority of our services are based at our main premises at Valley Gardens, Kirkcaldy, with additional premises in Dysart and the Gallatown areas. However, intandem is a Fife-wide service and our volunteers meet young people in their communities all over Fife. Due to having volunteer mentors from all over Fife, training and support for volunteers is usually arranged in local community facilities, closest to and most convenient for the majority of our volunteers.

Aims

We are a very busy youth centre committed to enabling vulnerable young people to achieve their potential in every way possible. We believe that every young person, no matter how hard their start in life may have been, has the potential to succeed and to thrive, it’s just a matter of finding out where their individual talent lies. In Kirkcaldy YMCA we aim to offer a wide range of opportunity across many different areas that can make it easy for young people to find that potential.
