Barnardo’s provide a number of services which include family support, befriending, mentoring, parenting groups and many more.

Locations

We provide support to the whole of Ayrshire. Training will be held at the closest Barnardo’s office to the volunteer however our volunteers will meet with the young person in their local community across Ayrshire.

Aims

Our intandem service is an Ayrshire-wide project that seeks to help children and young people aged 8-14 years who are looked after at home. We will match the young people with a mentor who will be a positive role model, provide support and consistency and build a strong relationship with the young person.
